The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter is the love-child of Steve and Meredith Roth. They do not believe in ghosts though occasionally, one plays with them. Or so they’ve been told. (For more info, please read the FAQ.)

Having met at a Buffalo open mic, the pair discovered they shared a similar appreciation for certain artists and styles. Meredith began backing up Steve with her lush harmonies and organic percussion. Eventually they began sharing gigs and sometime in 2005 or 2006 became a band. They’re not really sure when it happened.

“if I should stumble,” released in 2007, is their first album. It was recorded and produced with Armand Petri who also did the same for Steve's CD.

In 2008 they were married in a small coffeehouse in Franklin, TN.
